About Shay Medal

Hello everyone, my name is Shay. I’ve been a full-time model, TV personality, fitness enthusiast, from the age of 16 years old based out of Florida. I enjoy fitness, fashion, cooking, learning, and inspiring others, and spending time with those closest to me. I was born in Canada but I am all Latina with a Nicaraguan background.

As a young girl I always was leaned into hobbies that would showcase who I am. Hence growing up I was into Pageants and won my first title as Miss Oakland Park Teen USA 2008, followed by Miss Miami Lakes USA 2011, and finally Miss Miami USA. I also love being in front of the camera and was on the show The Ultimate Miami Girl and won the title. Unfortunately due to technical issues the show was dismissed. I have also made it as a top finalist on Americas Next Top Model cycle 13 for Florida, and also as a finalist on Nuestra Belleza Latina aired on Univision, along with Miss Latina Universe on Telemundo. My image is very well known on Major Spanish Networks shown world wide. Acting wise I am SAG eligible and have done commercials with LeBron James, Richard Sherman for McDonalds, along with other commercials for ITT tech, Livesport shown all across Europe, Pollo Tropical, and I am the face for the Product Miss Belt sold nationwide along with being the cover of the 2018 spring break calendar also sold nationwide. I have also collaborated with Music Artists in Music videos such as Pitbull, Chris Brown, Sean Paul, Migos, Nicki Minaj, and Bad bunny to name a few. I also love print work and have worked with many fashion designers from clothing to shoes.

I am also a fitness enthusiast and enjoy kickboxing with my blackbelt in Taekwondo. Working with different companies that also driven into the fitness industry is what I am always open to collaborating with. My goal is through my image to inspire others to work hard and live a healthy fit lifestyle.
